New All Time High for BTC

Making money while wasting energy

 So, I got solar panels installed on my house's roof a while ago and since we do have power exchange, sometimes price of the energy is negative, which means if I produce more than I consume electricity I am paying for the energy that is fed to the grid. 

Most of the time I can just run my water heater at that time or charge my many power tool batteries, but some days the price of electricity is a whole day negative and sun is still shining and you just can heat up water so much, that there still is left over energy.

So, I did use my many computers back in the days for sharing my idling internet connection and made some money out of it, due those computers being laptops which doesn't consume that much electricity that it made it worth it, but using those laptops now would be kind of points less since they don't consume that much electricity. Although my main computer which is 2013 Mac Pro and I still have my old 2010 Mac Pro, do consume quite much energy when working hard. 

Early 2000 I started to use SETI@home and I run it a quite long time, couple of years at least. Then I started BOINC a few years later when it kind of replaced SETI@home. Now, those are non profit, where you share your computing power, when you don't use your computer.

Cryptomining would have been on my mind, as I did when BTC was new and worthless... Yeah, If I could go back in time and tell one thing to younger me, it would be that keep mining and don't sell until the price is over $50,000. But now days it ain't worth the time if you don't have special equipment for mining crypto and that consumes away too much of energy, which isn't the point.

I just need to consume that extra electricity that I produce on my roof, that I can't consume.

Bitcoin halving 2024

The next Bitcoin halving occured April 20, 2024. During a halving event, the reward given to miners for verifying transactions on the Bitcoin network is reduced by half. Let’s delve into the details:

Cryptocurrency is rising and

 ...falling again?

Well, only future will tell if the bull run, on this time has ended or not. I had few crypto coins on Skrill, and I sold one of them and made a decent amount of profit. Okay, I haven't invested in Crypto since last payment from Timebucks, in last September?

Anyway, I had invested around 172€ in EOS and took out 220€, so nice little profit 27%.

I still hold 5499 XLM with 755€ invested, which gives us average purchase price of 0,13737€

BTC hit a new all time high (ATH) this week after breaking above the $69,000 mark on Tuesday morning, setting a new high of $69,324. Before this week, the last time BTC set a record-setting price was November 2021.

Not gonna lie that I thought about investing 1000€ last summer when the price has been just below $25000. 

I would now have almost 3000€. But at the time I wasn't expecting BTC to hit this high any time soon. Okay, last time I invested in BTC was 2020. 

2 vuotta takana

 Ysenseä tullut nyt kaksi vuotta tahkottua ja karvan vajaa 500$ tullut kotiutettua.

Reffejä on tullut tuona aikana 10 kappaletta, vaikka ei juurikaan ole mainostanut missään. Tosin ainoastaan kaksi on aktiivista. 

Et ei tällä kyllä leiville lyö. Mutta onhan tää ollut kokemus ja pariin otteeseen ollut hyvä jeesi kun palkkapäivään on ollut vielä muutama päivä ja saanut Paypallista kotiutettua päivän, kahden viiveellä.

Sitten Kryptovaluutta-asiaa pitkästä aikaa. Tuli tuossa pistettyä omaa rahaakin kiinni 240€ edestä kun oli tuo ETC alle 40€ ja kun tuosta keikkahommasta tuota rahaa tuli niin päätin sijoittaa pienen summan ja ns. tuplasin investoinnit. Noh, nyt tietysti jälkiviisaana on hyvä sanoa että kannattava sijoitus, tosin nyt pitää miettiä että ottaako se sen 240€(+kulut) ulos ja jättää loput odottamaan sitä nousua vielä suuremmaksi. 

Nyt kun edellisenä päivänä BTC teki uuden ATH niin on mietittävä että onko se taas laskua jonkin aikaa niin kuin teki keväällä vai nouseeko se kohta taas uuteen ATH:en, kuten keväällä teki. 

Pitää taas se varoituksen sana kertoa, ettei kannata sijoittaa sellaista rahaa mitä ei ole varaa hävitä. Keväällä kun tuossa ETC:n kanssa kävi niin että kun oli nousua edessä ja sijoitin sitten ns. kaikki munat yhteen koriin ja sitten ETC tuli reilusti alas. Taisi olla siinä 85€ nurkilla kun ostin, mutta nyt kun tässä kesän mittaan on vain sijoittanut joita Timebucksista tienattuja rahoja niin keskihankintahinta on laskenut alle tuon 85€ ja itseasiassa vieläkin laski kun sijoitin tuon 240€ kun hinta oli alle 40€. Tällä hetkellä plusmiinus hinta on 52€ ja rapiat. Usko ja toivo on että hinta kuitenkin nousee tänä vuonna vielä sinne 100€ päälle jolloin sitten laukeaa automaattimyynti ja saa kotiutettua rahat. Tai ne jää odottamaan laskua ja sijoittaa uudestaan. Katotaan nyt.

Keikkahommat haittaa kyselyjen tekemistä

 Tuli tuossa sitten lähdettyä keikkahommiin muutamaksi viikoksi ja on jäänyt nyt ensimmäisen viikon jälkeen nää kyselyt hieman taka-alalle. Huomannut kyllä että taas tulee kyselyjä sillä jo tässä kuussa on 20$ otettu ulos tuolta Ysensestä ja puolessa välissä kolmatta,  vaikka en juurikaan tällä viikolla ole ehtinyt niitä tekemään. Tässä vielä reilu viikko jäljellä kuuta niin eiköhän tuo kolmas kymppi tule otettua ulos. 

Timebucks on jäänyt kokonaan nyt tällä viikolla tekemättä kun on siinä näköjään sen verran hommia ettei se luontevasti onnistu illallassa tekemään jos pitää muutakin tehdä. Tai varmaan saisin tehtyä, mutta en ottanut "tehtäväksi" kun pitää keskittyä paremmin hommin joista oikeasti tulee palkkaa ja tehdään kuitenkin pitkiä päiviä. 

Toisaalta tässä ois hyvä sauma todistaa ettei se nyt niin paljon vie aikaa. 

Tulihan sieltä torstaina taas n. 12$ jo odottaa sopivaa sijoitusta Skrill.comissa kun nyt näyttäisi olevan vähän nousukautta kryptojen kohdalla. Bitcoin nousi tuossa reilu viikko sitten 27k€ tuntumasta reiluun 40k€ ja on ny pomppinut molemmin puolin ja siten vetänyt muista kryptoja kanssa ylös. XLM oli 202 kpl ja myin ne kun oli arvo noussut reilut 27% ja sijoitin sen ETC:hen. Jonka arvo on noussut siitäkin vielä reilusti, mutta ottaen huomioon kevään ostobuumin sokaisemana ostettujen kolikoiden arvo niin pakkasella ollaan vielä jonkun verran. 

Kuten kuvasta näkyy niin -23%, mutta pitkän laskukauden jälkeen ollaan kuitenkin menossa ylöspäin ja toivoa on näkyvissä.

Nooh, onneksi tuohon sijoitetut varat ei ole mistään muusta pois ja ei haittaa vaikka arvo tippuisi nollaan. Tein kuitenkin keväällä hyvän tilin.

Kryptovaluutta ja FOMO

 FOMO eli Fear Of Missing Out, eli pelko jostain pois jäämisestä. Tämä on aika vahvasti esillä kun Kryptovaluttaan sijoittamista harkitsee. Varsinkin kun ollaan oltu jo jonkin aikaa huikeessa nosteessa että kannattaako enää sijoittaa kryptoihin. 

Itse olen lähtenyt sillä asenteella että aivan sama, mutta yritetään saada noita Timebucksista tienattuja rahoja vähän enemmäksi. Ja voi hyvällä mielellä sijoittaa kun summat on kuitenkin pienet ja eivät ole niin sanotusti päivittäisesta varallisuudesta, eli jos häviän niin ei vaikuta taloudellisesti elämän tilanteeseni mitenkään. 

Myin tuossa pari päivää sitten nuo ETC:t johon olin aikaisemmissa postauksissani kertonut sijoittaneeni kun hinta nousi 40€ nurkille ja hieman ylikin. BTC kun oli ollut jo jonkin aikaa aika tasasessa 47k-50k euron nurkilla ja tuo ETC oli hetken ollut jopa alavireinen niin päätin myydä pois kun alkoi polttamaan taskussa rahat, kun näistä ei tiedä milloin kupla puhkeaa. Olinhan  29.90€ keskihinnalla saanut hyvän tuoton ja tienasin päälle 30€, joten ei huono kun ottaa huomioon että sijotin vähän reilu 100€, eli tuotto oli yli 30%!

Sitten ensin hinta kyykkäsi hieman ja olin että huh, onneksi otin pois kun alamäki alkoi. Noh, iltapäivällä katsoin kurssia uudestaan ja hiposi 50€, sitten kotvan kuluttua oli 64€. Seuraavana aamuna oltiin 100€ rikottu. No voi v.... mutta eihän sitä voinut tietää. Jos olisin pitänyt tuohon asti niin oisin saanut 350€ eli 233% tuotto! 

Jäin sitten pohtimaan sitä että olin kuitenkin fiksu kun otin ulos enemmän kuin olin laittanut sisälle. Joo, harmittaahan se että en uskaltanut pitää arpoja pidempään, mutta olin tyytyväinen siihen että sain kuitenkin paremman tuoton rahalleni kuin olisin pistänyt sen johonkin sijoitusrahastoon.

Hetken mietin että jos kerran hinta pompsahti noinkin korkealle niin tuleehan se sieltä jonkun verran alas, tuleehan? Nin sitten sijoitan uudestaan ja otan pois kun taas on noussut suuremmaksi kuin olen ostanut. 

Toisaalta mietin että kun tuo oli ottanut noinkin huikean nousun lyhyessä ajassa, voisiko joku muu tehdä saman lähiaikoina, joku joka olisi halvempi? Noh, päätin sitten sijoittaa taas jälleen kerran Stellariin eli XLM:ään. Ostin koko rahalla XLM:ää ja seuraavana päivänä eli tänään oli jo nousua 25%!

Nyt kysymys onkin uskallanko odottaa että kurssi nousee 1€:een? Tuotto ois ihan kiitettävä 127%!

Noh, nähtäväksi jää miten tässä mennään. 

Sataa ikkunoista ja ovista

 No ei ihan sentään. Ysensessä on taas kyselyitä päivittäin ja tuli tuossa kotiutettua 10$ ja tosta kymppiä mennään, hyvässä lykyssä tässä kuussa vielä toinen kotiututus. 

Honeygainssa tuli täyteen taas 20$, tuossa vähän aikaa sitten arvelinkin että tähän aikaa kuusta on kasassa, ehkä ootan viikon tahi kaksi ennen kuin kotiutan ne niinkuin viime kerralla, jolloin myöskin laskeskelin tuon 20$ rajan täyttyvän maaliskuun puolessa välissä.

Timebucks tuottaa ihan hyvin ei siitä ole pitkä aika kun sieltä siirtyy rahat Skrilliin jolla sitten ostin pienen määrän XLM:ää.

Bitcoini pomppasi eilen yli 50 000€ rajapyykin ja päätin myydä pois ja koituttaa rahat ihan pankkitilille asti. Voittoa tuli sen verran mitä olin menettänyt XLM kaupassa, tällä hetkellä BTC sulketaa ja mennään 46 000€ kohdalla. Se että kuinka alas tai koska uusi nousu tulee ei kukaan tiedä.

Ai niin ja olen taas alkanut "katsomaan" tuota hideoutTV:tä kun nykyään heidän Facebook-sivuilla ilmoitellaan ilmaista pisteistä ja nykyään tuolla Timebucksissa kun yhtenä osuutena Daily Goalin suorittamiseksi on että suorittaan jonkun tehtävän offerwallista, niin tuo hideoutTv on siellä ja kun "kotiuttaa" pisteitä Timebucksiin niin yksi osuus päivän tehtävistä suoritettu.

Tuli tuossa myöskin Suomitutkaa tehtyä muutama ja meni sitten reilusti yli kotiutusrajan.

Kryptovaluutan volatiliteetti

 Viime kuu oli erittäin hyvä esimerkki siitä miten volatiliteettinen kryptovaluutat on. Tammikuun innoittamana kuvittelin onnistuvani ostamaan halvalla ja myymään vähän kalliimmalla. 

Noh, juuri kun oli saanut ostettua XLM:ää 404 kappaletta koko rahalla niin arvo oli n. 0,44€ ja seuraavana päivänä yhden XLM:n arvo oli melkein 0,50€ ja kurssi näytti olevan kuuhun. Hetken aikaa aamulla mietin että nyt myydään ja taas tienattiin parikymmentä euroa. Mutta päätin olla myymättä kun arvo oli karvan alle tuon 0,50€. Heräilin siinä sitten kuitenkin ja käytin koiran, tein meille aamupalaa, kävin suihkussa ja valmistauduin työpäivään kun katsoin uudestaan.

Suunta oli alaspäin. Ah, pieni dippi vaan ja kyllä se nyt kaiken muiden hypen johdosta nousee vielä tuon 0,50€ rajan yli ja myyn sitten. Jotenkin fiilis oli että parempi ottaa nyt takkiin hieman kuin enemmän. Myin XLM:n pois joka näytti vaan tippuvan ja tippuvan. Samalla ajattelin että noh, kun se tarpeeksi tippuu ja kuitenkin varmaan ehkä kohta pian taas mahdollisesti nousee niin saan siinä kuitattua takaisin tappion kun ostan halvalla ja myyn sitten taas kalliilla.

Aavistukseni oli siinä mielessä oikein että parempi myydä hieman tappiolla kuin enemmän tappiolla sillä myin kun arvo tippui 0,39€. Tietysti jos olisin pitänyt päivän pari vielä niin olisin saanut pidettyä tappion hieman pienempänä kun arvo huiteli siinä 0,41€ ja 0,43€ välillä jonkin aikaa, kunnes tuli sitten kunnon dippi 0,27€ ja josta ei olla vielä toistaiseksi noustu ylös. Tässä pitää vaan taas muistaa sellainen asia että jälkikäteen näitä on aina hyvä arvuutella mitä olisi pitänyt tehdä ja missä vaiheessa, mutta kun mitään taetta tulevaisuudesta ei ole niin silloin pitää tehdä päätöksiä fiilisten mukaan. Mikään ei auta sua "tietämään" mihin se kurssi menee seuraavan tunnin aikana, saatika päivän tai viikon aikana.

Tässä vaiheessa BTC oli vielä hyvällä mallilla ja oli juuri tehnyt taas uuden ATH:n (All-time-high) ja sen laskulle ei näyttänyt ollenkaan viitteitä. Päätin sitten sijoittaa Bitcoiniin siinä toivossa että arvo pysyy paremmin ja nousee sen verran että saan kuitattua tappiot nopeasti.

Tietysti siinä oli hyvä ajoitus ja arvo nousikin hieman, mutta ei niin paljon että olisi tappio kuitattu. Euron kuvat silmissä uskoin että BTC ylittää 50000€ rajan ja saan kuitattua tappioni. Noh, sitten alkoi alamäki. 

Paljon alan foorumeilla on puhetta siitä miten 2017 markkinat ylikuumeni ja sitten tuli romahdus ja kryptojen arvot tippui tasolle jolla ne olivat seuraavat pari vuotta, aina viime kesään asti. 

Tällä hetkellä holdataan BTC:tä siinä toivossa että arvo nousee, mitä se todennäköisesti tekee, mutta milloin? Se on se kysymys, sen ohella että nouseeko se?

Kryptovaluutta

 No koska Timebucks.comista saa kotiutettua rahat Skrill:n kautta ja itse Skrill haluaa 5,5$ siirtomaksun kun siirtää rahat palvelusta pankkitilille, niin olen jättänyt nuo Timebucksista tienatut rahat sinne ja kokeillut sitä kautta Kryptovaluutalla tienaamista.

Kesällä ostin 0.00274411 BTC:tä hintaan 6956€ jonka myin hetkeä myöhemmin kun BTC ylitti 10000€ rajan. Tietysti summa oli mitätön, mutta tulipahan kokeiltua. Tietysti jos ois holdannut tähän asti niin oisin tulla saanut 4 kertaitanut summani. Noh, sijoitin kuitenkin kaikki mitä oli XLM:ään, eli Stellar Lumes krytovaluuttaan, joka tuolloin oli 0,07€. Myin hetken myöhemmin nuo kun arvo ylitti 0,1€. Tuossa vaiheessa kotiutin osan summasta ja maksoin tuon 5,5€ siirtomaksun, tosin olinhan sen kuitenkin tienannut treidaamalla kryptovaluuttaa. Loput sijoitin takaisin tuohon XLM:ään. Pari kk myöhemmin myin kun arvo oli lähellä 0,3€. Ja ostin taas kun arvo tippui 0,24€. Myin taas kun arvo pomppasi takaisin 0,3€ Ja ostin taas kun arvo tippui 0,25€. Ja nyt odotellaan että arvo nouse taas 0,3€. Tähän mennessä olen tienannut enemmän kryptolla kuin Timebucksilla.

Tein Googlen Sheettiin taulukon jossa otetaan huomioon välityspalkkiot osto ja myynti, sekä tuo siirtomaksu pankkkiin. Eli kun ostan jotain kryptoa hintaan x, niin kuinka paljon kyseisen krypton arvo pitää nousta että voin myydä. Esim. tällä hetkellä minulla on 520 XLM:ää, jotka on ostettu hintaan 0,2476€, eli arvo on 128,75€. Välityspalkkio on pyöreästi 2€ per tapahtuma tällä rahamäärällä, sitten tuo 5,5€ siirtomaksu pankkiin, niin jotta pääsen plus miinus nollaan niin XLM:n arvon pitää olla 0,26587€.

XLM:n arvo kävi tunti sitten(tätä kirjoittaessa) 0,29897€ ja mulla on automaatio hoitamassa myyntiä 0,3€ kohdalla. Tuolla tulee 20€ voittoa. 

Tässä pitää ottaa nyt se huomioon, että tämä on täysin spekulatiivista kaupankäyntiä. Mikään ei takaa että BTC:n, XLM:n tai minkään muunkaan kryptovaluutan arvo tulee nousemaan ja tällä voi varmasti rahaa.

Kukaan ei pysty ennustamaan mitä tulee tapahtumaan milloinkin. Esim ylläolevassa yhden viikon kurssissa on perjantaina nousu yli 31k€, mutta seuraavana aamuna arvo oli taas 28k€ nurkilla. Tämä johtui todennäköisesti siitä että Kultapoika Elon Musk ilmoitti tukevansa BTC-junaa. Jos ostit ennen tuota ja myit heti niin tienasit erittäin hyvin.  

Sitten kun tarkastellaan samaa kryptoa kuukauden verran niin arvo pomppii huomattavasti. Aino sääntö joka pätee on se että osta kun on halpaa ja myy kun on kallista. Tietysti jos mennään BTC:n alkuun jolloin BTC:n arvo oli olematon ja olisi holdannut tähän asti. Esim, Henkilö osti 2 pizzaa 10000 Bitcoinilla 2010 ja tänä päivänä noiden pitsojen arvo on 300 000 000 $ ja 10 vuoden päästä niiden pitsojen arvo on todennäköisesti enemmän.
